Intensive Safety Services

Intensive Safety Services (ISS) is an evidenced-based intervention designed to keep children at significant risk of removal due to abuse and/or neglect safe in their home while parents/caregivers complete services instead of placing the children in foster care. The program provides in-home support from a therapist to address parental needs that led to the abuse and/or neglect. The Oklahoma Impact Investing Collaborative (OIIC), a MetaFund initiative, provided upfront financing to support a Pay for Success contract with OKDHS who will work with NorthCare to expand ISS in Cleveland, Comanche, and Garfield Counties.
