HopeHouse

HopeHouse OKC, a nonprofit based in Oklahoma City launched hopeFORWARD to help address barriers and support individuals in achieving their education, employment, and family goals. HopeFORWARD offers flexible and supportive employment opportunities as well as a post-secondary pathway for education for families currently experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. To widen its reach, HopeHouse OKC has partnered with the Oklahoma Impact Investing Collaborative and the Oklahoma Human Services through a Pay for Success contract. 

Under the hopeFORWARD program, families can reside in transitional housing for up to two years, dedicating their efforts toward education, employment, or combined goals. Following this transitional period, if necessary, hopeFORWARD offers continued support by transitioning families into graduate resident apartments and aiding them in securing full-time employment. Participants will receive comprehensive wrap-around services for up to a year. Upon graduation from HopeHouse programs and the transition to independent housing or a HopeHouse ForeverHOME unit, graduates will maintain access to support through ongoing family events and networking opportunities indefinitely.
