MetaFund used $15 million of its New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) allocation provided by the CDFI Fund to finance the development of a new location for the expansion of Georg Fischer Central Plastics in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The expansion is expected to create 400 quality jobs at the new location and support 700 jobs at the company’s existing Shawnee location.
